Spiritfarer, the latest hand-drawn experience from Thunder Lotus Studios, departs from the action focus of their previous games to deliver an emotional boatman simulator that will leave players relaxed and punching tears back into their eyes to avoid dying.
Throughout the course of the game, players will meet a lively cast of characters, get to know them and help them fulfill their final requests before departing to the afterlife. A journey of bonding and ultimately goodbyes.
The latest trailer showcases the moment to moment mechanics of farming, mining, smelting, and crafting that will occupy a good portion of your time. Nothing terribly revolutionary for the genre, but one need not reinvent the wheel every time. Plus the visuals are again beautiful to behold as is typical with a lot of hand draw experiences.
Currently, there is no specific release date, but this cozy adventure will launch sometime this year.
