As it stands now, Nintendo seeks to bolster any avenue regarding the Switch Lite since the company hasn’t fully communicated the device’s “special features and appeal.”

In addition to the above, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa said there are “no plans” to launch a new Switch model in 2020. Furukawa’s response sits below:
“Regarding Nintendo Switch, we believe that it is important to continue to communicate the appeal of both Nintendo Switch systems and expand the installed base. Please note that we have no plans to launch a new Nintendo Switch model during 2020.
We feel that we have not yet fully communicated the special features and appeal of Nintendo Switch Lite, so we will continue to address this going forward.”
From here on out, as of 2020, expect to see Nintendo increase its support for the Switch Lite if Furukawa is to be trusted.
