Well, it looks like the game is no longer going to release then given that the game’s producer, Yoshinori Kitase, took to Square Enix blog to announce that the RPG will release for PS4 on April 10th, 2020.

On the topic of “polishing” the game, I do wonder if the ethics department will keep in the “deep cleavage” that the ESRB was on about last month?
In case you are unaware, the entertainment rating board evaluated the content in अंतिम काल्पनिक सातवीं रीमेक and gave the RPG a “T” rating. The ESRB notes that some female characters wear “revealing outfits” that have “deep cleavage” and the like.
The rating board also makes mention of a scene where a man of culture ogles several ladies while “making suggestive hand gestures” and “hip movements.” I do wonder if that will stay in the game?
As of now, we know that a PS4 demo is planned due to all the leaks, but I should note that the demo has no official release date, which means that it could drop anywhere from now all the way up to April.
