Prideful Sloth announced that the Nintendo Switch version of उधर: बादल कैचर इतिहास will finally launch on May 17th later this month.
It’s been a really, really long time in the making given that the PC and PS4 versions of the game came out back during the summer of 2017. After nearly a year of optimizing and refining the gameplay to work on the Nintendo Switch, उधर: बादल कैचर इतिहास is finally releasing on Nintendo’s little hybrid handheld.
The gameplay is quite unique insofar that it has no combat, but it’s all about helping save the people on the island of Gemea while fighting off the scourge of a dark mist that has enveloped the land. Players will have find and free mystical fairies, using them to push back the darkness and unlock all new areas to explore and adventure. You can see what the gameplay is like with the trailer below.
It reminds me a lot of the old शरदचंद्र games, insofar that the focus is on the exploration and adventuring experience rather than leveling up and grinding through endless enemies in order to get stronger in order to get stronger. You can fish, collect items, raise animals, explore caves, climb mountains, and talk to plenty of interesting characters along the way.
One aspect of the game that stands out is being able to create your own farm, collect unique animals from the surrounding areas, and raise various types of farm animals on your makeshift plantation.
The game features a very charming and light art-style, which I imagine will be popular with the kiddies who play on the Switch.
You’ll have to gather items, find new routes through the open-world sandbox, and help various NPCs along the way, all while discovering more about Gemea and the darkness that took over the land.
One Angry Gamer’s Matt Smail didn’t find उधर: बादल कैचर इतिहास to be all that exciting, and called it “boring”. I imagine this is for people who want a combat-free gameplay and role-playing experience. So, once again, if you enjoyed stuff like शरदचंद्र then you might enjoy उधर: बादल कैचर इतिहास.
