Pathea Games and Team17 announced that पोर्टिया में मेरा समय will finally enter into Early Access on Steam starting January 23rd, 2018 next month, next year.
The open-world adventure game is like a 3D version of Stardew घाटी, or a proper upgrade to the typical शरदचंद्र formula. Players will take control of a young hero at the edge of civilization at a town called Portia. The goal is to build the biggest and best workshop in the land. In order to do so you’ll need to gather up your supplies, and become the best workshop owner in town.
The news about the Early Access release date follows on a Kickstarter campaign that took place a few months ago, and a lot of behind-the-scenes heavy lifting that Pathea was trying to get out of the way in order to complete some milestones and get the game up and out to backers and the most ardent supporters.
The Early Access rendition will feature a full battle system, farm cultivation, workshop building, home-building, and dungeon crawling. An Early Access trailer was rolled out recently, which you can check out below.
The game has a charming, brightly-colored art-style designed to make gamers feel welcomed in the world of पोर्टिया.
Unsurprisingly enough, Pathea and Team17 have plans on porting the game to PS4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch in 2018.
In preparation for the Early Access launch, the developers recently updated some of the meta aspects of the game, such as the relationship system in the game. More specifically, they added a jealousy system. Yes, that’s right… your digital waifu-to-be can get jealous if you end up developing a close relationship with someone and then taking someone else out on a date. Things will get awkward and you’ll eventually suffer a jealousy penalty from both characters.
What’s more is that in the अद्यतन पोस्ट the developers explain that it’s possible to cheat on your spouse, too. So even if you’re married you can still dip your banana in someone else’s smoothie. Of course, if you get caught you’ll pay the price.
The developers explain…
“We’re not encouraging players to cheat, we are however giving players the freedom to do as they please when it comes to forming bonds in My Time at Portia, you’ll just need to consider the consequences of your actions.
“One extreme example of this is if you’re in a relationship with a large portion of the town and they all come to confront you when you’re on a date, that’s going to cause quite the spectacle…You should probably start running too.”
