Platinum Games and Square may have had a tough time getting out of the starting gate with Nier: ऑटोमेटा on PC, but they managed to do so with a lot of support. The third-person, action-adventure RPG has been making huge waves on Valve’s digital distribution service, managing to take the number one spot on the top 10 chart.
ब्लूज़ did a quick rundown of the top 10 games for the past week, and despite launching at the tail end of the week, Nier: ऑटोमेटा still came out as number one.

I’m genuinely shocked to see कयामत और का पहला सीज़न Hitman making the list. I didn’t expect those games to have such staying power. Then again, कयामत is actually a fun first-person shooter and Hitman is actually rather inventive when it comes to the different ways each episode within the season can be played.
Of course, none of this really measures up to the fact that 2B and her to-die-for hips have managed to entice and intrigue enough PC gamers to lay down their hard earned money for the port.
As is typical with a lot of games making their way to PC by Japanese developers, Nier: ऑटोमेटा was not immune to porting issues.
While there’s a fix for the 60fps pre-rendered movie bug, others had to put together other mods for other issues, such as the game not rendering properly to the native resolution of your monitor’s output.
modder Kaldaien has a mod you can download to allow you to circumvent the resolution hard-lock. You’ll need to download the Nier_Fiz.7z.
For anyone running Windows 8.1 or earlier, a thread on रेडिट suggests downloading two additional DLLs to help iron over the issues. You can get both files from over on Github’s download page.
Despite it’s early launch day hiccups, crashes, FPS and resolution issues, a lot of people actually love the game, much like अंधेरे आत्माओं when it first appeared on PC. The story, characters and gameplay of Nier: ऑटोमेटा has won over most people, and for those who have played it in comparison to क्षितिज: शून्य डॉन they definitely prefer the less politically charged nature of Nier: ऑटोमेटा.
