Arc System Works is currently prepping for the release of their latest Unreal Engine 4 fighter, Guilty Gear – Strive-. The game is scheduled to enter into closed beta testing and sign-ups are currently live and will be live for PS4 users from now up until April 5th, 2020 06:59 (PDT).
The closed beta test will only be available for those who have a PlayStation 4 and a PSN account. The good part is that you don’t need a PlayStation Plus subscription to be accepted into the closed beta test. The test will take place between April 16th and April 19th, so if you plan on participating you may want to register right now.
Seven characters will be available to play, including Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Axl, Chip, and Potemkin. I have to say out of everyone, I’m most impressed with the new design for Potemkin. I never liked him at all in the older games, but he looks so awesome and badass in दोषी गियर.
And speaking of new designs, Millia Rage and Zato=1 have been revealed as new additions to the ever-growing roster of the game, as reported by Gematsu.
The first half of the trailer gives us a look at Millia, the blonde-haired, blue-eyed beauty with her angel wings and acrobatic attacks.
The second half of the trailer focuses on Zato=1, who utilizes a number of shadow attacks both defensively and offensively to not only pepper opponents with neutral and aerial attacks, but also to zone them out.

Many people are still having a hard time believing that it’s all in 3D, but that’s just how fine a job they’ve done in refining their art design process to capture the look and feel of 2D fighting in a 3D engine. That’s no easy feat given that 3D physics inherently have less weight and a more floaty feel to the movement, but they’ve done a decent enough job in being able to capture the fast-paced gameplay from the original sprite-oriented दोषी गियर खेल.
