During an investor event at this year’s New Tork Toy Fair, Hasbro revealed their future plans for the Baldur’s Gate franchise and the डंजिओन & ड्रैगन्स brand. This included revealing that lots more games coming from the Wizards of the Coast are on their way, with बलदुर का गेट 3 set to enter the playing field via Early Access at some point in late 2020.

According to the report, Hasbro has plans on capitalizing on the six year growth of डंजिओन & ड्रैगन्स and want to further bring the fan-favorite medieval-fantasy realm to a broader audience by peppering the market with even more games.

We already knew about the डार्क एलायंस remake/reboot/redo, and the announcement for बलदुर का गेट 3 came last year, with Hasbro allowing Larian Studios to take charge of the development helm, so much so that they even delayed दिव्यता: पतित नायक to work on the third game and likely get it out in a timely manner.

In the report it’s mentioned that बलदुर का गेट 3 और डार्क एलायंस are two of seven games that are currently in development, and that the canonical third-outing for बलदुर के गेट will enter Early Access sometime later in 2020…

“Specifically there are 7 games in development: Baldur’s Gate 3 and Dark Alliance are the two that have already been announced, but according to Hasbro, we should be seeing at least one new D&D video game every year from now until 2025. And while there was no mention of the newly opened Archetype Entertainment, the WotC owned game studio working on its own sci-fi project, it was revealed that Baldur’s Gate 3 is scheduled for Early Access later this year, so players will be stepping into the world of mind flayers and Minsc a lot sooner than you might have thought.”

What they don’t clarify is if Early Access takes place on Steam or another such service, perhaps the Epic Games Store.

There’s not a lot of details over on the स्टीम दुकान पेज for the game, and we’ve seen plenty of games setup their hub on Steam and then announce a year of exclusivity on Epic Games.

I guess we’ll have to wait to find out more details leading up to the Early Access launch.
