RSI जेक और डेक्सटर games have recently been rated by the ESRB for the PlayStation 4. This includes the original Jak and Daxter, Jak II, Jak 3 और जेक एक्स: कॉम्बैट रेसिंग. Each of the games are rated ‘E’ through ‘T’, which means they will be releasing soon.

Sony had announced that the four games were coming to the PS4 via a teaser trailer a couple of months ago, but now we’re seeing something a bit more substantial at play.

The listing pops up if you search for “Jak” on the ESRB वेबसाइट, as noted by Reddit user ShelobTheGreat.

It looks like Sony’s remaster and re-release of all four games for the PlayStation 4 is coming soon. This fits in line with what they’ve been doing throughout this entire generation, relying mostly on remasters and remakes of fun games from the PSX and PS2 era since apparently people these days are so creatively bankrupt and filled with Social Justice that they have no idea how to create inventive, unique and engaging intellectual properties that can sell consoles.

Sony’s chief financial executive, Jim Ryan, had lambasted the prospect of backwards compatibility, claiming that no one played it or liked it and that the games looked terrible. It’s quite obvious that Ryan’s true reasons lay in the subtext of Sony’s actions: why offer backwards compatibility when you can charge people $60 for a fresh coat of resolution on 16-year-old games?

Sony recently took this initiative of remaking old classics by hiring Vicarious Visions to remake the original कैश बैण्डीकूट trilogy. Last year they released a remake of the original शाफ़्ट और बजना for PS4, and with the ESRB having rated the जेक और डेक्सटर games, it looks like they’re completing the trifecta of family-friendly adventure games from the PS2 being remade for the PS4. Next year they’re also tackling Team Ico’s बादशाह की छाया as a remake for the PS4.

I guess the latest PlayStation console has graduated from the “IndieStation 4” to the “RemakeStation 4”.
